Exam Pattern for TNPSC Group 2 Exam 2024?

As per the official notifications TNPSC Group 2 exam pattern is mainly divided into two stages:

Preliminary Examination (Objective Type): The Preliminary Examination for TNPSC Group 2 will be conducted as an objective type examination in which the candidates are given a duration of 3 hours. In these examinations, you are asked questions based on a certain number of questions from General English, General Studies and Aptitude as well as mental ability test. Where the candidates are given 100 questions in General English, 75 questions in General Studies and 25 questions in Aptitude as well as Mental Ability Test.

Main Examination: These examinations are considered as the main examination for TNPSC Group 2. It is descriptive in nature and consists of two papers, Paper One and Paper 2 – in which the candidates have to test Tamil Language Proficiency, Translation, Essay Writing, Comprehension, Questions like letter writing are asked. Through which the knowledge of Tamil language of the candidates is evaluated.
